Quoting Cheryle [TOG]:" I can't read through all the pages so I'm just going to jump in here. Why are you doing free sessions? ... [snip!] ... I give the client 3 free 5x7 prints and the option to buy more prints if they see more of my final edits that they really like."
I just do photogrpahy for fun. I would like to call what I do porfolio building, but I don't think I'm even good enough to have my sessions considered that. I just do it for fun. But, I feel like I'm starting to be taken advantage of. Everyone knows I've just been taking pictures, editing them, and then giving out all of the pictures for free. And I feel like people are starting to take advantage of me for it. So I'm wondering if I should just slowly start offering less photos, or, say if they want all of the pictures it will cost $25.00 and if they want edits it'll cost $X dollars or something. I don't know. I'm not a professional, like I ssaid.
