Quoting ~*Icat*~:" ok, i've been practicing my photoshop skills the last few days, and Becca has been giving me pointers....I ... [snip!] ... edit, honestly. i was so excited about how well the poles edited out that i didn't edit the coloring or contrast. woops. lol "
Quoting Legendary Bonnie Beaver:" Honestly, I think the first one would look better if you left it in color and just did the trick I told you about the clone tool for the background. haha."
Quoting ~*Icat*~:" actually, that color change in the background of that picture is from heightening the contrast WAY too ... [snip!] ... in the sheet. I don't think I belong in this thread, though. lol. im such a novice. What do you think of the second picture?"I think there is a large variety of levels here. Not that I ever shoot studio, but even for newbies I prefer a charcoal gray with texture over a black, because it prevents you from losing all that detail but gives you a nice dark color.

I think it would b e time consuming and hard to make look perfectly natural. If I run into that situation, I just kind of take out a few to give it a smoother overall look, but not all.
