Ive been dying looking at slickdeals lately, every day theres been a ton of lens deals, and I cant get one

I haven't picked up my camera to actually shoot with in about a year.
I even decided not to take it along on our vacation this year. I took a point and shoot instead. First time I have ever done that.

I really need to get my love for it back. Hopefully this thread can get me back to it.

I just have a D60. I was suppose to upgrade in the spring but since I wasn't into it anymore, I spent the money while on vacation.

Yeah can't afford the 1.4 yet unless it has drop in price a lot! lol 1.8 will me my next one...I imagine it's probably a smarter route just in case I just hate it for some reason...don't think I will though! lol

I have been thinking about this too. Yesterday was my daughters bday and we just used auto and auto focus because who wants to manual everything when kids are on the go?! lol

The one with the dudes pants pulled down would have been much better had he pulled the damn pants up like I told him.   The messy newborn is my good friends baby. She's the maternity one with the mountains in the back. She's pregnant again so I get to do pics all over.   I think she's crazy because her's is only 6 months right now and they were trying, but oh well. haha.

It's a gargoyle gecko and one of thee coolest/easiest animals to photograph (I think)  

Honestly? I got it off eBay for $30   The reason it was so cheap was because the USB port was damaged (meaning I couldn't connect a cord and plug into pc...which I never do anyway!) It was a STEAL because the camera itself is in phenomenal shape

  I think you are right! I have just never got to play with one and amazon has a lot of bundles with it so I will be pushing for one!

This is still my all time favorite pic I have taken...giraffs make good models! lol they move so slow most of the time!

Go to best buy and see if they have a body that has one on it, they pretty much always carry that lens   They may even have your same body there, you could probably get them to switch the lens onto it to try it out, even.

If youre looking for a bundle, I highly suggest checking out Adorama Camera. I buy all my gear from there and Ive never once had an issue.

Aww see giraffes are awesome to photograph! I love the peacocks!!!! Jellyfish are awesome. I have pics of soem glowing ones but i can't remember if they are any good cuz we were at the zoo so no quality time. lol
