Yeah this is very true. It just sucks because almost all the photos my husband took yesterday are OOF. I was using to get some cute ones of me wearing him. :/

I would just sharpen around the face not the eyes if you like the picture enough to try and save it.

Is the whole face OOF? It looked like he had focused on his ear so the edges of his head look in focus to me. But I am having some trouble figuring out exactly where the focus fell.

On my phone it kinda looks like your shoulder maybe? It's hard to tell. I'll have to look on my computer later.

both looking grungy as hell, but i couldn't pass up the opportunity of bobby being in a good mood while i had my backdrop up for my session yesterday.   hehe

Mommy snaps don't have to be perfect. I keep slightly OOF photos of Zaida all the time because I think they're cute. I don't care, because they're just for me and those close to me to enjoy anyway.

I do too. That is why I wrote that.

ETA she had asked for CC so I said it was a cute picture to keep because you love it as a mommy but IMO, I wouldn't waste my time trying to "save" it for anything else because that hardly ever works on OOF pictures.

I think for your length of time, you're doing well. A couple have some focus/shutter speed issues. Just a note, I think you got a nice amount of light, but to be nit picky (just for future information) if there is anyway you can angle him more to the light to avoid the catch light going straight through the pupil, it's more ideal to be at the 2 o'clock or 10 o'clock position, if that makes sense. Thinking of the eye like a clock. He's super cute.

Let me tell you.. nothing like seeing 80 photos of yourself with a double chin to make you feel good about yourself. :| Sigh.
