Being an adult sucks.  

I decided to forfeit my camera to get an SUV instead of a smaller car. Boooooo but I should be getting it for my birthday next month.  

Little before and after.

Everything was SO dead where we were shooting. Boo winter!!!

Also, I'm well aware, I suck at posing. I'm working on it...

I love the edit you performed! The color is rich and warm. That's not easy to capture this time of year when everything is so dreary.

I like the warm look. I mean my cameras WB was dead on in the SOOC but it just looked SO depressing!

  I understand. Outdoor shoots this time of year make me want to go edit crazy because I hate how the backgrounds are all "cool" and just "blah". But you did great making it still look season appropriate but warmed up.

Nice! I like the warmth too, makes me want spring to hurry up! Everywhere around here looks like your before picture too, just cold and dry :/

I pop in here so infrequently, so I'm sorry if I seem like a creeper stranger or whatnot, I lurk this thread all the time for the great information you ladies have!

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you back button focus? I have heard a ton about it, but just tried using it yesterday and am not sure its for me. If you do BBF, how long did it take you before you felt comfortable with it?

Not at all. I just get angry using my camera.

Monday cant come soon enough. I hope something as simple as upgrading my gear, can give me my confidence back.

I HATE the term 'reasonable'. It implies anybody who wants to make a living is being unreasonable. I find it to be an offensive term. "Is this reasonable?" No.. of course not. All artists deserve to be starving artists, literally!

I'm just in a mood. I feel like running a business has just burned me out in the worst way.

I always use the word "affordable". But I shouldnt. Until I build a client base, I dont know how to market.
