It's awesome as a grandmother name! I tried to come up with something in the beginning but I could never hit the right note. I have a boring name but oh well!

haha I have a boring name too. And as we discussed, the first letter of my first and last name cannot make a cool logo.

Your name sounds better than mine to me lol. I debated on renaming my biz when I rebranded but I just felt I was already too established.

Anyone know why my photos are showing up dull looking when I open up the raw file in CS6? Here is a pic of the opened RAW and the JPEG. Is it always like this?

it's just a preview. does the same to me.

It's totally normal. JPGs are what the camera thinks the photo should look like, so it chooses what it thinks is right and flattens it and discards the rest. I am not sure what your settings are in camera, but JPG will always look a bit punchier.
