I think you did a good job. Nice light in his eyes, and honestly the compositions don't really bother me - I think you showed a good variety vs 'every shot is dead center' that a lot of newbies do.

really nice pictures   and he is adorable.

The beanbag was really easy to make. I made mine 40" around and 10" tall. I only bought 3 yards of it. It's hard to fill it though lol you'll def. want your husband to help. I tried to fill it myself and it was hard to do.

The background stand is super easy to make too. I made mine. It only took about 30mins to cut all the pieces and put them together.

I got my 50mm 1.4   Wish I could of used it today but I ended up in the bathroom all night seems like I have the stomach virus that's been going around.

I love how he's got the stuffed animals in the background. It makes it seem really natural and "home-y"  

Hey guys... I'm not sure how much I will be in here anymore. I might not come in as much. I have some life problems I need to deal with and I'm going through a really hard time. I might end up coming and posting more to take things off my mind, but at this point I don't know what's going to happen with my photography.

theres a wall outlet there so i figured i try and make the background look a bit more "babyish"
