Brandi do you take your backup camera with you to every session? Or just weddings?

I try and take some back up gear to most sessions. I often don't if I am very close to home, but I definitely always take it if I am going further out. I hate to be 30+ mins away and have a problem and have to reschedule the session for a whole other day.

makes sense. I might just load both camera bags and keep one bag in the car or something.

Yeah, I keep one in the trunk. However, just be wary if you are in an area that might be considered dangerous. I would risk the one body or take it all with you. Too many cameras get stolen!

playing around with macro.

I have a telephoto lens that has a macro, but it has to be all the way to like 300mm and that's annoying to keep steady.

Took some more photos for my friend today. Her son did not want to stay still or look at the camera. This was my first time taking pics of a toddler.

How old? Toddlers can be tricky, but they are actually one of my favorites.

He is 2 and a half. I had a lot of fun, but it was so bright out and he wouldn't leave the park to take pics so a lot came out overexposed in areas. But I think I did get some good shots.

Yeah, that is one of the hard parts about having them in a new place, or a place to play.. they simply want to play! But, I look forward to seeing what you got.

YeahI am sad that I had to use my old camera though. When I took my D90 the settings were different or something and it wasn't autofocusing and I didn't want to take the time to try and figure it out.

No I got home and ate. I haven't eaten today. I am about to check it out though.

Can't wait to see! I attempted balloon pictures outside with Ryleigh & it was super windy. She wouldn't look at me either. & Then I was only able to get like 10 pictures (half of them were just test shots) & 2 of 3 of the balloons popped out of nowhere   I just gave up & went back in.. lol.
