So excited! I think by noon we will have a new baby in my house! Ok well actually not today since she will have a short hospital stay. I shall definitely take pictures but no bean bag set up unless my income tax comes soon! Oh and he is going to share his bday with his daddy. My brother knocks on my bedroom door last night to let me know they were headed to the hospital.

Well I actually got into an editing mood and I've finally pretty much finished the triplets photos today. Then I have another session to edit and the party I just shot. I better get a fire under my butt since I'll be busy soon and no time to procrastinate.

kinda neat.

http://www.alexbeadonphotography.com/blog/2011/08/18/how-to-turn-your-50mm-lens-into-a-macro-lens-photography-fun/

i played around with it, i think i'll keep my 50mm 1.8 for macro shots, until i can afford to get a real macro.   don't really want to do it with my new 50mm 1.4, wouldn't want to risk getting dust in it... or my new camera for that matter. macro shots might have to stick to my old camera. haha.

I got all excited and went to try this out to find out it might not work with Nikon..   Or I am doing something wrong.

Haha, yeah I remember this tip from years ago.

It should work with any brand, it's just difficult to focus. You have to move it back and forth to get the focus you need.

I attempted Ryleigh's birthday pictures today (well, just the cake smash ones) & it was a fail   SO was trying to help but he rushed me while finding the location & rushed me taking the pictures & then I started getting pissed off so I knew it was just time to go in..I just didn't get anything I wanted or could work with so I'm going to attempt again tomorrow without him. He's always in a hurry for EVERYTHING even if there's nothing else that needs to be done. It drives me crazy.

Yeah I was able to get great focus just by moving the camera closer or further. Works for me. Gonna see if it'll work with a newborn shoot. Otherwise I'll just use it for ring shots for engagement/weddings

Sorry hon. My husband sometimes has low patience for helping too, so I generally do it by myself. Good luck tomorrow!

Thank you! I know he means well but I really just work better by myself without him huffing & puffing that I'm taking too long. lol. & Today was actually pretty decent weather wise :/ Hopefully tomorrow it's nice as well. If not, I was thinking about attempting this with the theme colors. Do you think that would look too cheesy as a backdrop inside?
