I think she wants like barbed wire and blood though. She didn't tell me that is what she wanted so I was just going by some poses that I had found and she liked. And yeah I totally agree. It comes with practice.

so tomorrow, I'm doing my first newb shoot on location….except its not a newb…he's about 2 months…? 2.5 months?……nervous!

Any tips from the pros in here?

I have my PVC pipe backdrop, all of my newb backdrops, a few props….should I bring a few of my lights? in case their "amazing natural light" isn't so amazing for photography..?

The chances of you getting actual newborn style shots is pretty low , honestly. Preemie?

I agree about the hair & poses, but the lighting & location & everything is just amazing. You did really well with the actual look & feel of everything. It's just ...her. lol. Her hair just kills me..lol.

& The senior I shot a couple weeks ago always has crazy hair too. I wasn't crazy about her hair in the snow with the wheats but it's what she really wanted so *shrug*

I have 2 newborn photoshoots to do... They are both Due april 21st.  

SO MUCH SNOW!

Adorama. I use seamless paper. Like $25 for a big roll.

Haha, no snow here! Although it did drop like 10-15 degrees from the other day. It is supposed to rain today, with highs around 60.

Winds are pretty bad here, they ripped off my screen door. Can't even tell if its still snowing or if the wind is just blowing it around

It is almost 7 a.m. and I have been up ALL night with little man. I at least got some editing done. Here are some more awkward poses.
