I love any advice! lol. I was thinking the same thing as you actually. I figured the gloss would have random glares & I thought maybe the matte would go better with the owl theme for some reason. Like rustic & wooden? lol. I don't even know.

Ooooh how much time do you have. I think the green but kind of distressed would look awesome.

I just am not sure how it would photograph though. Or if you'd want that type of look.

The party is March 3rd but I'm hoping the weather cooperates so I can do her pictures like next week so I can make invites. Most people don't need invites lol but I still want to make them. How would I do that? lol I'm seriously clueless on painting & stuff. I don't know what I'm getting myself in to

Kalaina, I'm borrowing your picture again. I really hope you don't mind

I was thinking like this except green obviously. It's a little distressed but not TOO distressed.

So pretty. Now keep in mind I watch a lot of DIY but never attempted. LOL
I think you'd paint to the shade of your liking, then go back with sandpaper and just go over some spots randomly to take a little bit of layers off here and there.

I guess I was close lol

Do you think I should go with matte or glossy finish? I think I'm going to go for a light apple green color. "</blockquote>

I think I used glossy, not certain tho. I sanded it a little first and then painted and then roughed it
Up once it was dry.   didnt have to be perfect cause its only being used for shoots.

Did you use white to prime it first? Or did you just go with the one color? I'm thinking way too much into this because it's probably going to get used twice unless I have another one year old in the future.. haha.

I'm not a photographer but I do have a question. Hopefully one of you ladies could help me
Does anyone know a free program or anything that can add a time stamp to my photos? I need them printed off today with a time stamp but I don't want to go to a kiosk unless I absolutely have to. TIA

Like you just need to add the date on the pictures? You can go to picmonkey.com & add text there & then you could order prints online. The other ladies know where to order prints. If you're not that concerned about quality, I actually don't mind Walgreen's prints.

Will it look like it was added on the same as the kiosk? I have to use these in court and I don't want anyone saying that I just made a date up, if that makes sense.

Yeah, walgreens is who I want to print them out with since they are closer and better than wal mart. Thanks!
