Does anyone have any tips for super low light photography?

I took this last night

f 1.8, ISO 2000, 1/100 ss.

I thought by opening it to 1.8 and a lower SS I'd get more light coming in, but it still seems pretty dark to me.

It was also so grainy   I had to run some noise reduction in LR.
It doesn't look TOO awful does it? I hate the lighting in my house.

I just realized how yellow it was

I like this edit better. I don't have advice though   It looks good to me. Almost like it should be a little darker since it's night time & he's sleeping  

Quick question to anyone on, when sending your prints off to the lab what resolution do you have the pictures saved at?

Hope you're feeling okay! The only thing you really missed that was a big deal was that Dani did a photo shoot for a friend & the girl horribly edited it & marked out her watermark .. It was really bad. But all is resolved.

I'm feeling happy I'm home! Not feeling too bad overall but I was having horrible BH all day which sucked lol. Sorry that happened, Dani, that really sucks, but I'm glad it's resolved. And yes, I did see that on Skeptical Mother  

How horrible is this crop? Its just for a test print but I kind of hate the 8x10 crop of this

I don't think it's horrible.. I wish there was a little more room (fingers in particular) but it's okay.

This was the uncropped version I wish I could make the 8x10 work for it!

You could do a little stretching on the sides in photoshop and probably add a little room there.

I have this irrational fear that if I take my camera anywhere besides the playground that someone will try to jump me and steal it    
Or kick me out of wherever I am.

Then again, the only place we really go is the mall and walmart grocery shopping...  But it'd still be nice to get some pictures in a different setting.

Ok so this is my own dream? Lol. I grew up her every year at my gmas. Missing it think it'd be awesome to get kiddo pics here.
