I tried out freelensing to try and achieve the tilt-shift effect.

HOMG SO DIFFICULT!

what does it mean when the focal points are "cross type" I keep hearing that when watching camera reviews.

You take the lens off the camera and hold it right up to but tilt it ever so slightly to achieve the tilt-shift look.

I have a question. I'm not sure if anyone can answer though. My 50mm seems really loud when the shutter closes and it seems kind of.... Idk.. Jumpy? Like when I take the picture it looks wierd. Different from my other 50mm

That's weird. What are your settings?

It does it with all the settings. I am thinking it's because it's a D instead of a G?

I have the D and mine doesn't do that.

I meant when the picture is being taken and I look through the viewfinder it looks weird.
