& Off topic, but my nephew's older cousin's name is Zaida as well, so she named my nephew Zaiden. lol.

No, I think that's smart.. Otherwise he will be a distraction, for sure. I think she will.. She loves babies. When we were at my SIL's house for the three month photos, every time they spit out their pacifier, she went and put it back in their mouth, lol.

Aww, so sweet! My DD tries to kiss EVERY baby she sees. Even kids older than her. lol. I think she thinks she's older.

Haha, cute. Zaida likes to give hugs to random people. And she often calls children older than herself 'baby'.

LOL aww! I hate going to the store on days I really want to avoid people because DD just invites people in to come talk to us. lol.

That all makes perfect sense.
Do you think it would be wise to just kind-of gradually start raising my fees? I'm just so fearful of upping my session fees and then going from busy, to not busy at all. I'm so nervous about that...but I know that if I want to actually make some money doing this...it has to happen. All the time spent in front of my computer needs to be financially worth it.

and thank you to everyone! My husband built the stand! I actually had him build it for Teagan's christmas pictures as a Hot Cocoa Stand... I just gave it a little make-over for the valentines day mini's

Lucky! Mine is a complete spaz. You tell her stop doing something. She'll say "hey mama" and do it again while looking at me. OMG

Super cute! DH made one for Liv's 1 year pics. But lemonade stand. Pink, white, and yellow.

I just used a faux brown fur from Joann's clipped to chairs for this back drop. The flokati rug was donated to me and I got the bucket for 50% off at Joann's too  

You can also stop in at thrift stores and see what kind of blankets they might have as well. And I also use just a regular bean bag for posing with a firm square pillow on top to firm it up and pee pads on the top. I would love to build a blanket backdrop stand with the PVC because I am sure it would make things easier and less wrinkles I have to take out in post processing, but for now I've just been using the backs of chairs.. Things to come.

Someone just scheduled a newborn session with twin girls in May so I KNOW I'm going to need a bigger beanbag....this might be on my list of things to make.

but 4 yards of vinyl sounds expensive  that's usually 16 bucks a yard as it is, if I'm not mistaken.

I remember her pictures! so adorable  I am sure this one will be getting yet another make-over for summer time too...I was thinking lemonade stand but I just saw a really cute one of a flower stand so I'm debating now.
