If you tried raspberry leaf tea.

I read that it helps bring on regular contractions, that it tones the uterus and softens the cervix. Which of these is true? Did drinking it help with anything? The woman at the store had no idea about anything.

you are supposed to drink it from 34 weeks, 1 cup a day to start with and every 2 weeks add in another cup until you drink 4 cups at 40 weeks, it helps the second stage of labour go faster and softens your cervix and strengthens the uterus like you said, this is the information i was told at my health store

I don't feel it helped me apart from helping to keep me hydrated (from the three cups a day) but then again not too sure as it was my first. When my water eventually broke (7days overdue) I was having regular contractions every 5 mins and believe I had quite a fast labor

its supposed to help with toning the uterus thus helping your contractions be more effective.
I drank it a lot in the last month of my first pregnancy, went 11 days over and had a 29 hour labour, hemorrhaged after because my uterus wasnt contracting.
so I dont know how effective it really is haha BUT I'm still drinking it now anyway
