Congratulations!..I could not imagine what the other mom is going through!.
Im not sure about bf, I didnt plan to breastfood, by my milk didnt really come in either.
anyways, I had a csection, and felt like my normal self after about 10 days[[when I got to take my tape off]].
there was one side of my incision that hurt alot worse than the other, the nurses kept saying they must have had to pull more on that side.
But, it turns out a few of my staples got ripped out.
But, my fiance who was in the room said the lady was pulling alot on that side though.. have you saw the instrument they hold your stomach up with?
he said they used that on the side I was sore on.
So, that may be it.

Congrats to you and your baby! I can't help you with the C-section question but the pain...about 2 weeks of pain (that was worse than labor in my opinion). Try lanolin cream and also if the pain is really, really bad, nipple shields helped a lot - until I figured out how to get my baby to latch on and for my poor nipples to heal a bit (they didn't stand a chance with the frequent feedings...).

1. congrats on the breastfeeding, thats exciting!
2. sore nipples/breasts is a little different for everyone, when my daughter was in the nicu, the hospitals lacation lady was always around somewhere, find her and ask, she can also give you tips on things to do to ease the pain.
3. the stinging from your c-section, i had that too. i had staples, and they only left them in for 4 days. but if it gets unbearable just go in to the er...to make sure everything is looking ok. if its not unbearable just hang on until your two week pp visit. a heating pad, did help with some of my incision pain.

i had my daughter on may 10th and my nipples are feeling better now. i'd say by the end of the 1st week they were healed up.

BF is such a wonderful experience isn't it.
2 & 3 I guess I got lucky cuz no burning or itching or feeling like stitches were ripping.
