Blistered up

So I posted this earlier http://forum.baby-gaga.com/about2300953.html and it has pics. Well the part in the back that was warm and swollen and felt kinda hard has started to blister/bubble up. Do you have any idea what would do this?

I'm not a moron, I don't need to be told to take her in. I plan on it ok, just want to know if anyone would have an idea of what I'm looking at here or if anyone has dealt with it.

I wouldn't take to the ER personally. Call the pedi and ask them about it.

Every time I call their pedi, they just say bring em in and redirect me to their scheduling line.

I know, the silliest part is, a nurse or someone will take a message and have a doctor call me back just to tell me to bring them in lol...I called her insurance nurse hotline and they did the same thing. Asked me a million questions about it and what it looked like and where it was located and just told me to take her in...

Well then you should take her in.  

I don't want to scare you but it sounds like a spider bite. The brown recluse. Do you know if there are any in your area?

This is what I read about their bites:

"The brown recluse spider, native to the United States, is found in Midwestern and Southern states. You can identify the spider by the dark violin marking on its back. It is less than one half inch long. The spider likes to hang out in undisturbed dark indoor and outdoor places. It is not aggressive, but will bite if disturbed. When you get bitten, you may not feel the bite, but after two to eight hours, a small blister appears, surrounded by a red swollen area. The swollen area may become bluish-grey and enlarge to almost 3 inches. The bite from a brown recluse spider may take a long time to heal."

I hope that's not it and your little one is fine.

Do you have an Urgent Care that you can take her to instead of the ER?

I was hoping that wasn't what you were doing. Yeah, they put some nasty pictures up.

Is Ohio considered Northern US? Because it said brown recluse were located in southern states and Midwestern states. If you're northern then that's probably not what it is. This said the bite didn't hurt but I've always heard the bite was extremely painful
I'm from the south so that's a spider we're taught about early.
