Any moms homeschool? I am thinking about it next fall for my daughter. I guess any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

IMO? Dont do it. I'd say over 75% of people I know that were homeschooled either have horrible social skills or hated it so much they ended up blaming their parents for not putting them in a real school. But thats just IMO.

I don't formally home school but I do have a lesson plans that I've been using for my preschoolers. My 3 year old goes to school now so I mainly reinforce whatever she learns at school. My 2 year old stays home with me though.

That's the parents fault that they didn't get them involved with social groups. There are a ton of social groups out there for homeschooled children. On the other hand, I don't think anyone should be homeschooling their children if they don't have an education themselves and if the children are very adamant about NOT doing homeschooling.

I went to a private school and my hubby went to school at home. Almost everyone in my family was taught at home. Not a big deal they all went on to great jobs for the government or own a business. We have a homeschool coarse online in the state of Tn which is supported by the state of TN. There are schools around here that offer at home classes.
We have already discussed it and our child will be taught at home. Check around your area and go for it...if you do not like it you can stop.

True, I think most parents mean well for doing it but it ends up not being the right choice for either parent or child.
