So it's 6 am here and I just woke up out of my sleep because I felt a little bit of a trickle. Thinking I had to pee I got up and an uncontrollable gush came out of me, and completely soaked my pants in the 5 steps it took to get to the bathroom. I peed a little bit and then there was only a little trickle that felt uncontrollable. Do you think my water broke? I don't want to wake anyone up if I just peed on myself. If you think it did break do I need to go to the hospital now? Would you go get checked if you were me? I don't want to sit at the hospital for nothing right now.

My sister was working when hers broke and she thought she just pee'd herself. Hospital was 1hr away, we barely made it lol

Time to take a shower?

It sounds like it. If you have any pads, use one and check again in 20 minutes to see if you're still leaking. Either way, it wouldn't hurt to go in because it sounds like it was your water. Good luck

It definitely sounds like your water, and I'm sure you have time for a shower. You don't HAVE to go in immediately when your water breaks though, you can labor at home a little if you like, just time your contractions 2-5 minutes apart and painful enough to take your breath away and if you can't talk through them, you should head in.

If you plan on getting an epi, take a quick shower and head on in, you can progress pretty fast after your water breaks, not always but, sometimes and you don't want to get too far along, they won't be able to give it to you.

Okay, my plan is to take a shower, drop my daughter off with her grandma, and head in.

Although about 5mins after mine broke my contractions were 4-5mins apart every 5-10mins. You should have time for a shower, good luck :-)
