baby dropping at 31 weeks?!?

posted 18th Aug
So we thought I was 28 weeks and my doctor just changed my due date so that I will be 31 weeks sunday, my son has dropped ALOT since wednesday and i have felt his head in my pelvic bone for a few weeks now.. could I be at risk for a preterm baby?

My daughter has been head down and engaged since 28 weeks... She's 2 weeks overdue on sunday. You're just going to be in a lot of pain for a while, probably. And if you start walking around 37/38 weeks you might actually be in labor before you go overdue! No guarantee, though.

I wouldn't think so. (Preterm wise) They just love to get ready for us. My two have down that before and I have a feeling this one is trying to do the same. Been aching down south all day. Get a big bouncy ball to sit on. *one of those medicine balls* It will help a bit with the pain and will give you a bit of relief not to mention stretch your pelvic area to get you a bit more ready for baby. (Anyone help me here or correct if I am wrong please.)

Good luck though and congrats.

Thank you and I guess I should mention I started having braxton hicks. They started last week and only had about 3 the whole week, and now I'm having them 4-5 times a day. I am suppose to be watching them and watching my work around the house. Like I said just a little worried.

Bh are pretty normal at this point...it could just be the pressure from the baby dropping.

Oh definitely be cautious. My son tried to escape at 31 weeks. lol Not to scare you or anything. I was at work sitting down, getting BH as usual then just suddenly got dizzy. Told my mgr who had 4 kiddos and he told me to call my Dr. Called and she said meet you at the hospital. Sure enough, he was trying to break out of prison. I got the butt shots to strengthen his lungs just in case, but he ended up behaving over night. So much so that he had to be evicted and I was induced with him. Lil monster. LOL

Don't stress too much over it. I know, "How can I not you crazy woman?" Just relax when you can.

lol yeah she said more than 6 in a day that i need to head to the hospital and call her. I was just concerned because all of a sudden he dropped really low. I have been sitting back and my fiance has been doing all the hard work so hopefully I will be fine. Thanks.

LOL, I love my ball. I'd take a pic and share but I now need to clean it. My kiddos were all over it after they ate and now I have pretty little hand prints on it.

Got mine at Walmart for about $8. Had to get a new one, my mom "lost" my old one. Oh and get ready to work them legs. It comes with a foot pump.   You'll definitely want to sit when it's done. Took me while cause the kiddos wanted to help. So maybe really only three to five minutes to pump it up? Have fun with it.

OMG, yes they will. You ought to film them just trying to do it for you. LOL That would be priceless!
