My baby bump is gone... :(

So I had my gallbladder removed on Wednesday. I'm not sure if I'm losing weight or what, but I've shrunk. All that is there is swelling from the surgery. I still feel baby move and everything, so I'm not too worried, but what do you ladies think? How far along do I look? Before and after.

How far along are you? Maybe baby shifted to a different position?

I had my gall bladder out as well and i lost tons of weight from it. I was 15 weeks when i had it out too. Just recently started to get a baby bump out of know where too. Maybe you did lose some weight.

I had over 30 stones in my gall :S

A friend of mine went through the same thing. She has pictures on Facebook of it and I'd show you, but it'd be kind of rude to post her pics  

And don't worry, your bump will return!

I had only gained 3 pounds so far this pregnancy, but I had a pretty obvious bump.

Baby probably shifted positions a little. In the first picture I would guess you were 20 weeks or so. But you have probably lost weight from the surgery too.

i am 28 weeks now and only gained 3lbs total. i had a small bump at 15 weeks and it was gone for quite a while. The last 2-3 weeks its like i exploded, but still didnt really gain any weight. Before i had my gall taken i lost 8-10lbs. im still 15lbs under weight and really only gained a total of 3lbs this pregnancy.

Your bump is definitely smaller, how far along are you?

I'm 18 weeks even in the first picture, 18 weeks 2 days now.

I also did just realize something. I'm more swollen at the top, where the three insiscions are. So that makes my bump looks less pronounced.

you will be swollen for a couple of weeks. Took me 3-4 weeks to get the swelling down on me with my belly button that was infected a lot.. But its great that eating should not be an issue anymore! At least i am happy about it! I could not eat or even keep water down with me. No anti nausea meds would work.

Your bump looks totally normal for 18 weeks.
Mine was that big around 17-18 weeks, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, but you could always call your doc in the AM if you ARE concerned and want to ask.

I'm not really concerned since I still feel baby move and everything. Especially when I have the ice pack on my belly button, lol. I just thought it was odd because I was so much bigger just two days ago. I was not as big as the first pic at 18 weeks with my first, but this is baby number 2.
