Niece in need

I niece just turned a year old. She was diagnosed with Scoliosis at about 6 months or so. The family was able to go to the Shriners hospital and get her cast put on a few days before her birthday. Her back is ALOT better, but she doesn't fit in her carseat anymore, and her mom can't really afford a new one. I want to help, but I have to get stuff for my own baby too. I'm not sure what to do. She really needs a new carseat.
