Trigger finger or?

For a while now my hands have been drawing up like an old person. Here recently, as in the last few days it's gotten so much worse. I can't twist the lid off a bottle, pick up a cup, typing is getting hard too because my fingers lock up. I have to shake my hand and rub my fingers to get them to straighten out, it doesn't hurt really, it's just extremely uncomfortable. I do have carpal tunnel but I've never had anything like this before and I don't think it's related. I'm going to make a doctor's appointment monday unless it gets really bad, then I guess I'll go to urgent care of something. I googled and read about trigger finger, but this is my whole hands, not just one finger on one hand. Have you ever had anything like this? What was it? What did they do for it? Maybe it's pregnancy related? Idk.

Arthritis?

I thought about that, but it seems weird it would just get really bad all of a sudden, kwim? And isn't arthritis supposed to hurt? I guess it's a possibility though.

My son had to have an operation on his thumb they said he had trigger finger. It is when one or both of the ligaments tighten like a rubber band around the joint about where the knuckle is and it wont let you let you straighten out your thumb/finger to the full length making it look like you are bending the thumb/finger. The op took only a few minutes and he recovered very quickly with little to no pain he was only 4 years old when he had it done, they said it was necessary as the thumb is one of the "important didgets" his thumb has full range now.

I've had the same issue for about 5 months now. My right hand takes about 3 or 4 hours to open/close completely after I awaken. The first 3 fingers on my left hand are numb all the time. When I asked my OB about it, he said that during pregnancy, there is a nerve in your hand that swells and not everyone has this happen. Not to scare you, but he also told me that those who do experience this phenomenon while pregnant are likely to have thyroid issues in the future.

I'm not 100% but I don't think it has to hurt to be arthritis.
