death sentence so young

posted 17th Aug
About 1 1/2 years ago my cuz was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She was 26. We went to have a surgery and Dr said it was stage 2 squamous cell. After that she had chemo and radiation. Everything looked good for awhile. Then she started having pain in her leg. They did another cancer screen and it came back positive and it had spread. They stated chemo again but this time her body didn't handle it well. Her kidney stopped funtioninh well and they had to put a tube in her kidney to drain the urine. During this point she is almost completely bed ridden and screams and cries in pain constantly. After that round of chemo they did another scan and could see that the cancer was still there but had not spread further. The Dr explained to us that they cannot cure the cancer but was going to try to treat it so that she could live. They wouldn't tell us how long but said if it responds to treatment she could live for years... this was 2 months ago. They put an epidural pump directly into her spine to numb the leg that was so painful and she was on every kind of pain killer possible. They gave chemo another try... well yesterday we went for the results of her newest cancer screening and the Dr said it had spread into her lymph nodes and there was nothing else they could do. The drs exact worrds... " the cancer is laughing at the chemo!" She sent her home on hospice and basically said it wont be long. She is 27 years old!! How can this be fair? She never got to get married or have babies or live life. I'm so hurt and in shock. She's too young to hove up!

that's terribly sad. Cancer is the Devil.

It's absolutely terrible, and tears lives and families to pieces. Leaving broken bodies and hearts in it's wake.

I will think about your cousin. sorry.

Maybe she can look into alternative treatments? I know there are experimental drugs out there, I've also heard stories of cannabis oil completely curing tumors much to doctors amazement.

There is a story of a 2 yr old boy who was dying from a brain tumor. He couldn't sit up in bed and hadnt eaten in months. As a last ditch effort the dad started sneaking cannabis oil into his feeding tube and within weeks he was sitting up in bed, eating meals, laughing.
The tumor completely disappeared. The doctors thought it was a miracle. Then the dad came out and admitted what he'd done.

I'm really sorry your cousin is going through this :-?
One of my cousins started developing sever mental problems around 19 yrs old from too much drug use. We are 6 months apart and she was one of my best friends. Now I can barely talk to her. She's in and out of mental hospitals and jails, sometimes she calls me speaking complete nonsense. It breaks my heart :-?
She will never live a normal life either.

I'm so sorry   My family has really been wrecked with cancer. More people have had it in one form or another than haven't had it. Even my nephew at age 3. It'd devastating to the entire family. I will pray for her, and for you and the rest of the family.
