I've never had wasabi or eel sauce. I love soy sauce though, & ginger sauce Is really good. Idk if that would even be good on it though lol.

They usually serve it with fresh pickled ginger, wasabi and soy. Its basically just personal preference.

anything with spicy tuna in it! different places have different rolls. But.. dragon rolls are always good.

OP.. go with someone who knows and likes sushi.. prefereably a few people so you guys can order a few different rolls and try different ones.

We got the captain crunch roll last night and it was sooo yummy. Crab, shrimp tempura, avocado and cucumber with sesame seeds, tempura crunchies and eel sauce on the outside. It was delish.

well.. fish.. but not like you think. Sushi is the HIGHEST quality of fish.. so its' smoothe... not fishy. hard to explain.

Just for clarification, imitation crab meat that is used in California rolls is made from fish. I don't like sushi I prefer sashimi, but for sushi I like inarizushi, ebi, and tamago. My favorite is salmon sashimi, beef tataki, and geoduck.

I'm a bit of a sushi-holic. I didn't know if I'd like it. BUT, it is like anything else you have to have good sushi or at least decent sushi your first time or it might ruin it for you. I've been lucky and only had "bad" sushi once or twice. Most of the stuff I have had has been great or exceptional. The most authentic that I've had in the U.S. is at EPCOT in the Japan area. It was great, especially with Saki. There were a few great places in Pensacola, FL of all places. I had good stuff out in Seattle as well. Try the geoduck out there. You can typically only get it there. Make sure that the place that you get is is CLEAN. Food poisoning is no bueno.
