Quoting KimJ304:" I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter named: Sarah Elaine and we are going to have our second daughter in ... [snip!] ... but people give me weird looks for using it (even before knowing the spelling)... IYO is there something wrong with the name?"
Quoting BαtLlama:" Not a huge fan of Raelee. But if ur hell bent on using it I think you should choose either Bethany Raelee or Bethany Nichole because that name as a whole is too much."
Quoting Kaylen Jean Clifford:" I like Raelee better than Bethany or Nichole. "I do too! It's actually the only name I picked out of all three! I pretty much hate the name Beth(any) and I dislike Nichole as well... So Raelee is what I will be calling my daughter I bet. He felt bad since my family was left out and had to add Nichole for my sister - and so I got the three names I wanted that way as well as my Raelee.

Quoting LolaMcKitten:" Raelee is a hotess, I'm sorry. Your child will groow up and be an adult some day and Bethany is a wonderful ... [snip!] ... will just sound really silly when she's 40 - remember, people spend the majority of their lives as an adult, plan accordingly. "I wouldn't use Raelee as a first name, I agree that it's not the best name for an adult who is seeking employment. It deosn't change the fact that I do not like Bethany and while she is young will still call her Raelee though. I think it's a nice balance all around. She has two names that are traditional and functional if she would like to go by them and then she has one that is a little off the beaten path if she isn't a Bethany or Nichole type of girl. While I see your view points, I don't see how I am not 'planing accordingly' when she will have three names - and only go by the one she picks, both of the other names can be used in other forms even if she wants and still sound adult. Bethany; Beth, Betsy, B - Nichole; Nic, Nicolas, Chole.
