re: Preschool lunches

Thanks ladies!
I think I may be more paranoid at the getting picked on thing than necessary. There was one kid that will be in his class that was being a little ass to all the kids the day we went to sign up and meet the teachers, etc. So I think I am just fearful of it.

Well, I am so thankful that my son's private PS doesn't prohibit peanut/tree nut products. They do have the other rules of not heating things up, etc. They also will not allow juice or sugary beverages. They'll also remove really sugary foods as well. They can have something like juice/choc milk, or whatever when they arrive from home, but after it's gone that morning, they get filtered water throughout the day.
I pack a sandwich of some type each day; turkey, chicken, PB & J. I do carrot sticks, apple slices, grapes, annie's bunnies both cheesy or graham, celery sticks, organic yogurt tubes that I freeze & by the time lunch or snack comes around it's ready, apple sauce, bananas, lentil chips, salt free pretzel sticks, annie's choc chipper bars. I'll do cheese cubes. My list can go on and on. I've become a pro at making his lunch.
I ordered my son's lunchbox from Pottery Barn Kids & had his name embroidered on it.
