Well Jameson now has to be put on caffeine because he is having apneaepisodes :-( they said once the wean the caffeine he will have to be monitored for 5 days :-(

I became a mommy yesterday (3/4/13) morning at 5:39am to a healthy baby girl. 5lbs 5oz 18 1/4 inches long. I would have been 39 weeks thursday and been induced but baby couldnt wait

Thank you. He is being moved to a different bay they said its basically a promotion since its for babies getting ready to go home.

No dialation yet for me, OB is gonna set me up with an induction date next week if I don't go into labor by then

We had our first weekly check up yesterday - and our lovely Strep B Culture (hubby rewarded me with dinner afterwards - lol)

Im wondering if anyone else has an OB who does not believe in checking for dialation during pregnancy?? Normally this wouldnt bother me but after being in L & D this weekend and STILL having contractions etc., - I thought it was odd that she didnt check. She did advise us that if the contractions are any closer than 10 minutes and last for an hour to go to L & D - very contradictory since we were sent home when they were 3-5.

My doctors are midwives and they don't check, thank god. It's an invasive thing that tells you nothing. You're either in labor, or you're not. So I'm glad no ones fingers will be up there until the baby is coming.
