DH was 4 1/2 weeks early so his weight doesn't give me any ideas  
but my midwife told me yesterday she predicts this baby to be close to what DD was or more, which was 8.11

Just leaving L & D...dialated to 3...water is leaking but not broken...contractions every 3-5...and they sent us home

for real! my hospital if you are at 4 they keep you if your water is broken.
She could bounce on a ball and be at 5 in minutes, you never know. They should have kept her!

i think doctors have gotten hella stupid lately

I am a c...we live 45 minutes from the hospital...im just blown away...a midwife helped us...and got kind of defensive when we asked for a dr...assured us they would tell us the same and sent us on our way because "im still early and they'd rather have me go home than have a little baby"

That's crazy! If you're water is leaking, you're having a baby soon whether they like it or not. Sending you home doesn't solve anything.

Have you called your OB?

Eh, my friend's water was leaking for at least a wk before she had her baby.

But if you're 3 cm dilated already it's kind of odd they weren't more concerned

her contractions were close together is what i was worried about!

im glad im not just a paranoid momma. When we were walking out they said...you have our number feel free to call us if anything changes
