Everyone around me has been dropping like flies. I tried everything I could to stay away from all the flu sickies. Fortunately, I succeeded and keeping the flu away, but I caught a pretty bad case of the cold. I've been sick since Saturday. Almost had to go into L&D for an IV and monitoring because I had a fever, but I was able to finally get it down and keep it down. She also gave me a scare because she hadn't moved much in 5 or 6 hours. But it turns out that it was because I'd taken some Benadryl to help my congestion (for sleeping). As soon as the Benadryl wore off, she was back to her normal antics, which made me feel quite relieved.

I'm still sick and can't wait till this crap is gone. I've got my 3D u/s this weekend and I have to clean my house from top to bottom because DH's cousins are coming from out of town next weekend to stay with us for a couple days.

My precious Caris is a week old now and I miss her like crazy! It's hard to go see her (we are an hour and a half part) because I also have 4 little boys at home that need me too. I am super excited because I get to go see her tomorrow!

Yes, I had an emergency C-section. I didn't feel her move for a day so went in. They found her heartbeat but it was very rapid and not slowing down. So they called in a NICU nursing staff from and hour and a half away and got me ready. An hour after she was born she was life flighted away and I didn't get to see her for 3 days. I have only held her 2 times but she is doing great in the NICU. Her nurse said she seems like a totally different girl.

Wondering if I should be concerned with the fact that I seem to be turning "green". We've been battling the flu at our house for a week - so theres been LOTS of throwing up - to the point that some of it is blood tinted (sorry TMI) Im exhausted and now have had 3 people today tell me Im green - but I feel fine besides overly tired - which is to be expected at this point.

My hemoglobin was 9 at my last blood test BTW

My second 24 hour collection was higher than the week before :-( not going to make it to April like I hoped for my c section. Now just praying I make it to march!

Waiting for the call back as to when the dr wants to see me.

We're trying to make it to the week of March 1st here - initial due date was March 29th - but they keep saying I'll never make it

With my youngest I had one at 35 weeks for this same crap.

I know I'm not a doc, but I'd take some Zofran if I were you. If you don't already have some, check with your doc. It'll help with the throwing up.
