Ugh I *think* I am having contractions. They effin hurt!

Been awhile since I was on here. I had to have an emergency C-section on the 16th. Caris Jenika was born January 16 at 1:04 am. She was 4lbs 5 oz and 17 in long, I was onlt 32 weeks along. After she was born they took via helicopter to a hospital about an hour half away. She is already off oxygen, has a feeding tube and I have gotten to hold her a few times! She has an MRI today to check into brain function but Dr. is positive, all her organs are working and she is looking around.

I hope everything turns out ok. Good she is already off oxygen. Looks like 2 March babies turned in to January ones =/

Congrats hope everything turns out ok

So glad to hear that she's off the oxygen. Not many of us without some sort of issue.  

I find out Wednesday what day baby boy will be here, and next week on Wednesday I'm off to Winnipeg (the big city) for the big fancy ultrasound on his kidney.

Sure hope there are no more January babies from our March group. I know I'm going in February instead of March, hopefully not too many February babies either!

I know! I was 1 point over for the GD test but they said they won't make me take insulin, just yet. But I think they are going too. We can't seem to control it by diet. I have gained 10 pounds EVERY appointment since 10 weeks.   They are midwives so they are really against forcing babies to come out, but there comes a point ya know?   That and for my size, I already make big babies so even without GD he had a possibility of being big. I'm 31 weeks measuring 6 weeks ahead last appt  

this heartburn and nausea are getting the best of me today... ugh  

Everyone at our house has the stomach flu - I spent most of the day yesterday in bed sleeping and rotating to the bathroom to be sick. Now today I have crazy period cramps.

But I can relate to the nausea and heartburn - Feel better soon!

im have GD and im fine just gotta deal with the diet.

hes measuring fine he weighs about 3.5 pounds and hes head down!

Diet isn't changing anything for me   I'm afraid next appointment they are going to put me on insulin.
At 30 weeks he was measuring 5lbs!

Weights can be way off by ultrasound though. Also, only 1 point over doesn't mean you have GD. Was that the 3 hour or 1 hour test?

I failed the 1 hr by a point and they said I failed the 3 hour but didn't tell me how much. Just said that for now no insulin.
And of course they can be off by a pound, he was measuring 5.4, so 4.4 is still big and if it goes the other way, YIKES for me haha

Oh ok. Could actually be off by 2 pounds, but I'm not a Dr. either. lol
It is possible that the insulin is in pill form that's the way my Grandma took hers. You test your blood every day?
