This may be TMI, but I'm a first time mom and I can't seem to find anything online about it, so I'm gonna ask here...

In the middle of the night last night, I woke up because it felt like something was stabbing my left boob. Every time I'd move my shirt, it would hurt, so I figured there was something stuck in my shirt that was poking me. But being half asleep, my only solution was to put my hand between my boob and my shirt. I fell back asleep. Later on, I woke up again due to stupid stomach acid running up into my mouth, but I also felt that prickly feeling again, so I just got up, went into the bathroom, dealt with the acid thing, and then started investigating my shirt. I couldn't find anything, so I look down at my boob and I notice there's one little TINY chunk of skin that's poking straight out from the rest of the skin on the tip of my nipple. I investigate it and it's tender to the touch...every time I touch that tiny chunk, I feel a little prickle all through my boob and it hurts. So I grab the lotion (cocoa butter) and rub it all over both nipples, figuring they're dry and that will solve the problem. But it doesn't. That piece of skin stays sticking out. So I change my shirt to a super soft one and that seems to do the trick for the time being and I go back to sleep (after slathering some more lotion all over the nipple to keep it moist). I wake up this morning and check it out...THAT PIECE IS STILL STICKING OUT AND HURTING! Since it's so tiny and barely hanging on, I figure I'll take care of it by just pulling it off. Probably not the smartest thing, but hey...this thing is hurting me. So I grab the tweezers and attempt to pull it off, but it's definitely way too attached still for that as an even worse pain shoots through my boob. So that's not the solution either. So I wonder if I squeeze my nipple and look closely if I can see anything, And I do. First of all, I see that there's a tiny dot of blood on this chunk of skin, and second I notice that my nipple starts oozing a very tiny amount of liquid. It's clear and watery...and not enough to really notice, but when I dab it with a tissue, you can see a few small wet dots on the tissue. I try the other nipple and I get the same thing.

My question... Is any of this normal? Should I call my doctor? Remember...I'm a first timer at this. Lol.

Skin tags are normal during pregnancy. Sounds like you have one in a spit that is easily irritated
Doc may be able to remove it, they are harmless unless the irritation turns to infection

the clear watery stuff is colostrum, its what comes out before milk and some women get it before they even know they are pregnant

I have a skin tag in a less than disirable place   I asked my Dr to take it off when I go in to have Skylar

Really? I wouldn't have thought it to come in this early. Interesting, but good to know.
