I don't think it would be stealing her thunder. She might like being able to go through it with you.

With both my first and second I was pregnant with someone.. lol.. I actually enjoyed being able to compare notes.. this one I'm all alone and I miss having someone in the same boat lol

I was pregnant with a family member with my first, a family member and 2 friends with my second, by myself last time, and so far by myself this time, but hopefully 2 friends soon. I love it and no one ever thought I stole thunder even though I was always due last and I won't consider my SIL or friend to be stealing mine if they are pregnant. Gives me someone to go through it with, shop with, and something to look forward to a few months after mine is born  .

Plus more baby showers...yay! But I have to say, i'm sorry you feel she would be mad and you don't get to be excited over your new bundle with any family...that's so sad  . You're also better than I am, I guess, cause i'm pretty sure I'd blab even if I thought she'd be mad. If she was, I just wouldn't share anything else with her, but at least everyone would know and couldn't be mad at you later for not telling.

I dont think anyone cares to be honest my family sucks at the support thing, the father of the baby is getting excited however   which makes me feel better my,appt is oct 12th and he is 4hrs away and wants me to call and set him on speakerphone lol. maybe ill say yes to and ultrasound im hoping for another girl ! but so far four u/s later and they still dont know..im also nervous that i wont love this baby as much as bad as that sounds

My next appointment with u/s is the 12 too :-)

What if you tell her first? Maybe go out for dinner or something; make a girls date or something. If you tell her first one on one, she might be more receptive :-). I just really think you should be able to celebrate your little one too :-)

That doesn't sound dumb. I've heard that a lot, but you will love this baby just as much  . It just sort of naturally happens.

My sister got pregnant with her second because I was pregnant with #2

my family would flip, I was able to get away with the 12 weeks, but more and they'd never let me hear the end of it

I dreamt I had a miscarriage last night. In the dream, I had cupped my hand below and it was full of blood. I woke up and was too scared to check myself, but I did anyway.

I keep trying to push the thought of it away, but I can't stop thinking about it today. Is that strange?
