Pregnant with Mirena?

I had a baby in April and after I chose the the pill as birth control. After about a month I realized I was going to forget the pill too often, so I chose to go with the Mierna IUD. At first I had no issues with it..until last month. My hair is falling out in hanfuls, I've developed eczema, my mood will change from happy to angry in an instant...and now, I think I may be pregnant. Which scares the crap out of me because I looked up the chances of carrying a baby after the Mirena is removed and there is a very high chance of miscarrying the baby after removal. If you don't miscarry chances of a healthy pregnancy are high but its making it past that point. I guess what I'm trying to get to is if anyone else has had these symptoms with the Mirena IUD? DId you become pregnant with it? If so did you miscarry? Did everything go smooth? I think, I'm just looking for some peace of mind. Sorry if i left out needed details or somethings don't make sence. My mind is in 1,000 different places.

never got pregnant on it when i did have it . .i had thoses sysptoms and found out it went through my wall of my uterus and caused it to twist. . so u might want have that checked soon because if u dont it can turn dangerous. .wish u best of luck with what happens. .

Yep, it happens. I got Mirena and a month later found out I was pregnant. It was stuck in my uterus. I just delivered a healthy baby boy AND a healthy placenta with the lovely mirena attached. lol. I had NO issues, but I was monitored A LOT during this pregnancy. I had weekly ultrasounds until I was almost 7 months. It was a complete shock since I already have older kids and wanted to have no more. But, now that he's here I'd change nothing. My baby is now 2 months old and the love of my life.

Thanks ladies! My period is a few days late and even though its only a few days, I've always been RIGHT on time, even with the IUD. Well, up until now of coarse. :/ I'm going to take a test today and make me an appointment regaurdless of the outcome to have the placement checked.
