I went to the ER last night because I had some small bleeding and the doctor did an ultrasound. He said that the baby looked fine. After that he said that it looks like I may have a hemorrhagic cyst. But when the nurse discharged me, she said that they didn't have any information about it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had one or do you know if they are dangerous, etc?
It's just a benign ovarian cyst that can cause bleeding, i get them once in a while and they can become painful but there is nothing that can be done for them except pain management if you are in a lot of pain, however usually they clear up on their own with in a couple weeks.
