My OB actually recommended that I eat two TUMs a day because I don't have enough calcium in my diet for the baby. Milk doesn't touch my heart burn but it works for some people.

The relief provided from milk is temporary and generally isn't worth it since it doesn't set well. Tums are great, of course, but actually eating yogurt and apple cider vinegar (two tablespoons in a glass of water) work well, too.

Chocolate milk always worked for me and that's what my dr. Said to do as well the chocolate will make you milk thicker and should help.
