how long????

i was wondering how long your preemies stayed in the hospital for
how many weeks were they?
how much did they weigh?
i just had my son at 34 weeks and i have no clue when they will be letting him come home
all signs point to around wednesday but they cant tell for sure

dont know the answer but from your profile it doesnt sound like your baby was tooo small for 34weeks..6lbs is good

i know!!!
before i had him thye gave me an us to see how much he weighted and they said 5lbs 11oz
they were like half a pound off!!
he measured 36 weeks 3 days when i had him

My blood pressure is still high, waiting for the doctor right now to come back with the 24 hr urine results. I really wanna go home but we'll see what happens!

I had Aydin at 35 weeks and 5 days and he was only 5lbs and 8 oz. and they let him come home with me so hopefully your liitle man will be home very soon!

yeah---thats not too far from full term...im no doctor but it sounds like he should be pretty a-okay. 

my son left when i did..the only reason they had him in the nicu was because they had to monitor his heart..so i left four days after i had him (c-section) and his weight was 6.1 so they let him go home

My friend just had her baby and she was due June 15th. She had him May 9th. He only weighed 4 lbs. 12 oz. So your baby is a big healthy boy. Her baby is coming home this week. As long as he can eat well. How is your baby doing?

he is doing really well
he had a tiny bit of trouble breathing on his own at first but he got the hang of it and is now off of everything!!
i get to bf him today
so they said depending on his feedings is when they will decide he goes home
hes been in there for about 4 1/2 days now

Congrats to you too, I hope your little guy is home soon. I'm sure he will be he sounds like he's doing really good.

Girl It depends on your baby. Every premie is different. If they are looking at wednesday don't worry. Your baby will be home soon. Also if your interested March of Dimes is a supportive website for other mom's of Premies. Good luck and congrats!
