re: Official TTC a 2014 baby thread!!!

posted 19th Mar
I wish you ladies wouldn't get so discouraged. It takes a normal couple up to a year to conceive. It's not easy. There's only a 20% chance each month that you'll get pregnant, it's not a high percentage unfortunately. It took me and my husband 11 months and 1 m/c to get our angel baby. My friend is still TTC and it's been a year and a half for her, sometimes it takes longer than 3 months or even 6 months(which is what I'm seeing for a few of you girls) Lots of baby dust your way girls. Don't give up, it WILL happen.

I think the 6 months and the miscarriage is just making this so much worst. Ttc sucks

yeah I know, I've been there, trust me. Did your doctors tell you what was wrong with you? I'm asking that based off your profile information(the 4 m/c's)

I'm high risk. I'm on so much vitamins right now trying to make my uterus less hostile during the first trimester. He said he hasn't been able to figure out what exactly is going on but he knows better now and he knows how close he has to monitor my levels and progression. I obviously can have a viable pregnancy it's just getting to that point again.

yeah I know what you're saying. I think I might have asked you about switching doctors once before but I think you said you liked this doctor? I don't know which is worse, not knowing if you can get pregnant after trying for a long time, or getting pregnant and keep losing them b/c at least you knew you could get pregnant. It's sad either way

Yeah I love him. He's the sweetest. He has literally tried everything so far that he thinks will help. Hes a high risk obgyn so he knows all the routes to try.

I feel like the loss is just devastating each time I don't know which is worst though

So I'm CD32 and I finally started my period! No surprise since we didn't really BD this month. So I'm not bummed out really. But it bothers me my cycle is even longer this month. I had a 29 day cycle in Jan, a 30 day cycle in Feb and now 32 days in March   I'm not sure what's happening. Does anyone else have weird cycles?

Mine were like that before I started taking BC. It was really irritating although we weren't TTC so I can only imagine how frustrating it would be when you are.

You should try to start taking b6 vitamin for a month to help get your periods on track. It helped my friend get on a 28 day cycle and it really helped her a lot and other girls I know. GL

I've been off BC for 7 months. but didn't talk about TTC until 2 months ago. We still havn't really "TTC" yet lol but were not preventing. but it's hard to even get an idea of when I should O when my cycles are longer every month. i don't temp or take OPKs so maybe this cycle I will start that   to make sure im ovulating and my LP is good.

Don't leave   I don't really track anything except my LMP but I like coming in here and talking to girls who know what I'm going through. any time i talk to my husband about ovulation or dpo he's like "Huh???" LOL just have fun with it and as another member said there's only a 20% chance every month it will happen.
