So... I took another OPK, and it's darker   I don't understand. Yesterdays OPK:


Top OPK was done at like noon. Bottom OPK was done at 10pm. Why would it get lighter, and then start getting darker? I don't understand.

Not everyone gets continuously darker lines until they get a positive. You always have a certain amount of LH in your system and it can fluctuate. Then you get a surge of It and that gives you a positive. Some women gradually get darker lines until a positive and some just get random lines until a positive. The important thing is to just keep testing twice a day til its positive   are you temping?

Not temping... I have no idea how all of that works   So I'm just relying on OPK's this cycle.

Well if you do decide to temp next cycle its pretty easy   just get a bbt thermimeter, just like a regular one only it has two numbers after the decimal so more accurate, sold at most drug stores. Take your temp every morning before you do anything else before you even get out of bed cuz it can influence your temp, and it should be at the same time every morn. Then just chart it (any of the apps that allow for charting temp are super helpful, I used fertility friend) your temp dips and then goes way up after ovulation, and stays up, and thats how you know you ovulated. It really helped me know for sure when I ovulated!
