fair enough. No prob. I have to be really careful the words I use with my mom, otherwise she writes me off and refuses to talk to me for a while (even on holidays) Like now, she got mad at me for not calling very much and wrote me off, didn't even pick up the phone when I called on Christmas. Haven't spoken to her since before it. This was just from me not calling every day when I had been before. So I pay attention to word usage only because I have to. Still doesn't always help me though :/

Welp ladies, another day w AF not starting, BFN again this morning.....I kno this happens all the time i just am so impatient!!! Now, the test I took this morning I tried to focus on and take a pic of (it was early and I was half asleep lol) but looked like a BFN. But when I looked at it 3 hours later when I woke up for good, there was a faint reddish purplish line......I kno they say not to read them after yada yada time or whatever but ive never had one turn up like that.... Ugh, I hate venting on here every morning lol sorry!!! I'm just glad you ladies listen

that's really awful. I am really sorry. I thought I would use the word silly instead of "how dumb" or "that's really stupid" but apparently silly wasn't good enough. haha.. She said she planned on buying stuff for a kid before she ever got pregnant as I replied with "Okay, that makes sense" Who in their right mind buys for a child before they even have one? What happens if they can't bare children and/or they have problems continuously losing them; why put yourself through the heartache? I didn't wanna continue to argue with her so I said what I had to say. No one else argued with me or had an input so they must of wanted to say what I did and I just said it first lol.

I'm sure others did want to say what you said. For me, I bought stuff when I wasn't pregnant lol Only stuff that was on sale and I realized it was silly. My thought was even if I didn't get pregnant again, people are always having babies so I could give it away as a gift. Practical

Oh I agree but I don't see her as that type of person but it's all good   My mom is extremely toxic too, another reason why I haven't told her I'm pregnant,and I also wanna wait til my appt. I'm feeling pretty good about this one though, it's always natural to worry

Same here, lol. Before we had kids, I would buy cute ones at the goodwills, or ebay that were cheap and in like new condition. They were gender neutral and I thought if it took us awhile or we couldn't have any than I would give them as gifts to friends/family. Some I did do that with. But I only did that for a short time.

While pregnant I would buy a few things here and there that were on sale or for practically nothing. But for most things I waited/wait until I know the gender. Heck with Steven we didn't get his crib and bigger things until I was almost 30 weeks, some weren't until my showers which I was in my early 30's. This baby we don't need much since Steven's big items are gender neutral. If it's a girl we'll need clothes and other girly things.

I just found out from MIL that the girl at the bank whose been trying for several years now is 9 weeks!! She was pregnant several years ago, but lost the baby shortly after finding out   She's been to the Dr. and had an u/s and so far everything looks good. So hopefully this is her rainbow baby!! I am so happy for her and am crossing my all for her.

Me too. I mentioned on here too I think I had a friend from high school/ ex co-worker who was pregnant and was due in July, and she found out she lost it   Just a few days before xmas too, it was really heartbreaking and I felt so bad for her. She was like "there was no signs at all" I told her I knew exactly how she was feeling and that that's the worst part, not having any signs only the bleeding. Poor girl. It still hurts to know that

haha sounds like me. I didn't like buying the big stuff even when I was huge because I was so nervous spending money on a baby that we weren't guarenteed to have. So many things can go wrong. You just have to bite your tongue and do it.
