Thus is my second cycle without the mirena an still nothing! :-/ I felt like it for sure this past month but I guess my mind was playing tricks on me

ok... I think mirena Effs up your body. I had it too. My body stopped ovulating and I didn't know it til we started TTC. I took Vitex ONE cycle. I took a 400mg pill in the morning and one at night. Started at CD1 and stopped when I knew I o-ed because I charted and used OPKs. Vitex is natural and won't hurt you. It won't GET you pregnant.... it fixes your system (might take more than one try depending on the damage from mirena) by helping you naturally produce more progesterone and just helping regulate you in general. Its worht a shot. Its cheap. It doesn't require a doctor. I bought my bottle for 5 bucks and gave it to someone else because it worked the first month. I maybe took 25 pills out of the bottle of 100.

Eeps, looks like I will be joining.

Didn't think this would happen but hubby is the one that suggested trying and it is actually good timing because of my schooling. It was either work and get my masters (and TTC down the line to only have 4-6 weeks of mat leave and having to put new baby in daycare) or get my masters w/a newborn and stay home for 2 years.

DH and I talked and I am going back on the pill for a few months after I'm through all this mess. So I will be a cheer leader for the next three months or so. And then technically that means I will be ttc a 2014 babe....

That's why I decided to TTC now. I get my associates degree next December. I'd rather get pregnant not, and be pregnant during school now than wait until I'm done with school and working a 'real' job, etc. This way, if I get pregnant soon, Ill have the baby and have a few months to spare and then look for a job in Jan 2014. Hopefully I get my BFP asap!

Congrats on your Associate's! I got mine in August. I will have my Bachelor's Sep 2013 and start my Master's as soon as my financial aid switches from undergrad to graduate.

I need my Bachelor's to get a job in my field and I want my Masters. I would rather not have to put a newborn in daycare if I get a job next year and we get pregnant after that. This way I can get pregnant, have the baby and finish my schooling while staying home and get a job after new baby is a toddler.

Exactly! See, my family things I'm ridiculous but its a really good idea. I plan to go for my bachelors also. I would have graduated in May of this year with my AD but unfortunately, I screwed around when I was younger and first started college and messed up my GPA from dropping/withdrawing too much. UGH. lol

I had a bad year like that too. I had to take ENG102 3x to be able to finish and pass.

I took everything possible at the community college to transfer to my university for my Bachelors. 3.5 classes down (2 weeks left of my 4th class) and 5 to go.

I have a feeling my dad will flip out if we get pregnant again and think I am totally screwing myself. But do I really want a new baby when my kids are 7 and 9 or older? I would rather get it done now.
