I also am always searching for published findings in support of anything I believe, teach, use, etc... All opinions and findings must be backed up with facts, recreated and reviewed; I get it! That said, this being my second child now (by no means an expert) I have found that sometimes things just "are" when it comes to women and their bodies. The female reproductive system is complex and has yet to be fully explored; so, I've realized that reccomendations by other women can be just as valid as the journal of reproductive medicine (except for ther caster oil crap, I will NEVER do that).

It's early right now and I can't remember if you had a positive or almost positive opk recently? If so you might have O'd and the spotting is from that and from bding (sometimes happens).
