pregnant belly ring warning

i had my belly ring for 9 yrs now and i had my metal regular one in until a week ago and i was like 5 and a hlf months.. i decided to get a plastic prego one.. i put it in and i was allergic to the plastic or somthing but it got infected... it is your choice if you want to try them but i suggest not to.. when your prego your immune system focuses on the baby and not you so the doctor told me inections are a higher risk plus i dont have any health insurance and the cream cost 80$ and that is the cheapest oneeeeeeeeeee so before you want to look cute as i did i am only 23 please just think about taking it out it is so much trouble now i have to take care of it 3 times a day and i also spread the bacteria or whatever it all over my belly i can t rub cream on it and i have a sty now...its just a warning when your prego you have so much else going on happening hurting why would you wanna deal with an infection... good luck love jess i took mine out and its staying out  

that SUCKS. My body naturally rejected my belly ring four months after I got it done, and that was a little over a year before I got pregnant. =(
Now I have that stupid dot from where it USED to be.

I took mine out about2 months before I got pregnant. I have the nastiest scar now. I wish I never had it. Take a look

Now it looks like its bruising around the scar and it kinda hurts when I touch it...I hate it!!!!!

yea that sux some people just cant have them..but i was reall scared now that i was prego i just want this infection to go away

it was and now its all red and rashy and i have a sty haha i just dont feel like having this ontop of everything else thanksss.  

I wouldn't say that the plastic rings are that horrible. I have had mine pierced for 7 years and i still have mine in. I just changed it to a plastic one around 28 weeks or so and it's been fine ever since. No creepy scars yet either. I think everyone is different.

I had my piercing in for over two years now, I had it in with my last pregnancy, and I kept it in with this pregnancy too. I just left it to keep the hole open, not to look cute lol. Mine is just the orginal metal piercing.

I just let mine go too. I had one of those prego plastic ones too and it was great for a little while but it snagged on something and broke in half. I just took it out and I am going to let it go. I don't ever show it anyways so whats the point?
