LOTS OF CRAMPING IN MY LATE 11TH WEEK?

Ok, so I have had cramping numerous time throughout my pregnancy so far but never this much so I am a little worried, I am in my 11th week and am a high risk prego so the only thing that always goes through my mind is that I am going to miscarry. I have no bleeding just the bad large amont of cramping, has any one else had this? Is it normal? I don't see my doc for another 2 weeks and don't want to call them and become the paranoid prego woman. So has anyone else have this extreme amount of cramping this early?

if i was you i would try and relax go have a lay down for a bit, i think maybe its just growing pains good luck if it gets too bad or you start to bleed go and see your doc and he should give you a u/s

Could be your uterus growing, i got cramps like that too. I still get them occasionally. It could also be trapped gas, i get that too and boy is it awful. You might try drinking some room temperature soda and burping. It helps me.

If you really think something may be wrong you can go to the ER or call your DR. Better to be safe than sorry. And you wont be the only one who goes in, panicked and finds out its just gas. =)

I'm due the same time you are and 2 days ago I had cramping so bad that not even tylenol would help. I was not bleeding either. It lasted for about 6 hours and then I went to sleep and the next morning it was gone.

I hope your is just a passing thing too. I think it is normal for the uterus to start stretching about this time, but it scared the hell out of me!

Thanks, you are probably right, I have wondered if it might be gas as well as the growing in comb.

Before I miscarried, I had loads of cramping but it usually always was accompanied by leg pains as well. As long as you're not bleeding, then I would just take it easy and get off your feet for a little while. Take a couple of regular strength tylenol and have a nap. Could just be growing pains!

Being High risk too I will pass the advise my Dr gave me. No heavy lifting until I passed the first trimester. Rest as often as possible. Keep feet up. STOP WORRYING!!!

Eaiser said than done, but I wasn't even allowed to vacuum the house. Call your Dr if the cramping is acompanied by bleeding or spoting. If the cramping doesn't subside with rest, call your Dr. Everyone is right, your uterus is growing and stretching right now. It is not uncommon for your ligaments to get a little tender.
