Medicaid & Bills??

So I just received some bills in the mail from my previous OB, the other part my insurance took over but, I currently have Medicaid now and I was wondering how do I send my medical bills to them? Do I just write my name and case number on top and fax it? or do I have to call and let them know? I just got it so I'm a bit confused because my representative didn't tell me so much info on it.

I would just give your previous OB your medicaid info.

yeah call the docs office and give them the medicaid ID and they'll be able to tell you if it will retro back to those dates or not.

You can just call the number on the bill and give them your medicaid info and they will bill them.

How do I get my Medicaid ID? is it the same as the case number? She didn't tell any of this since it's my first time signing up I want to get everything right. I think I'm gonna do what Diana said because I just switched from OB to Midwife and I don't want to be doing this with both just sending the bills to Medicaid.

Did you get a card? It should have your member number on it if you got one.

smurf I guess I can't do it because they haven't sent me the member card yet   well than I'll just wait til they do... I just got the interview yesterday recently enrolling so it takes time til I'm in the system (I hate how that sounds lol)

Oh lol. Well in a lot of places medicaid will cover you three months back but I would call your case worker and ask.
