I am confused??

When I first found out I was pregnant we didn't know how far a long I was because I had NO CLUE when my last period was... Sowe guessed and the doctor gave me the due date of NOV 21st. So the next month I went in for my first ultrasound and he said I was 10 wks (instead of   and said they were keeping the due date of Nov 21st? then I went in yesterday and I asked him So dr. how far along am I exactly? he said 14 wks!!!??? i am confused I really want him to change my due date to be like a week or two earlier!!!   it sounds better to me   So anway I just want to know why thathe kept the same due date??
and anybody have a similar thing going on???

They say if theres only a 2 week difrence they dont change it.My son was due Feb 24 and I messured 2 weeks early the whole time and he came on Feb 14.They say the ultrasound and calculation of conception can be off by two weeks.So unless it was more then that they prolly wont change it.

Ah. I just go by the month. Some ppl end up being early and some ppl end up later than their due date. I just say the baby is due in October.

I didn't know when my last peroid was. Like the exact date or anything so i just guessed.I knew it was in novemember sometime. Well.. i didnt go get my first ultra sound untill i was 16 weeks along.Or at least they said that, i would just go with the doctor says.I don't know. that would confuse me as well.

Man with my son I got like 3 different due dates all within a week of each other. This time around so far 3 dates to speak of and possibly another on one thursday when I go in for my level 2 ultrasound. Remember everything is pretty much an estimated guess with a plus or minus degree of error. No date they give you will be exact anyway...it all depends on whenyour baby is ready.

I get off the hook this time with the guess and waiting game though...PLANNED C-SECTIOJN HERE I COME!! WOO HOO!!

My Dr tried to change my due date as well. She said it was based on the babies measurement. I am due June 07 and on thurs she changed my due date to June 14. Your Due date is really a guess anyway. I can tell you the exact day I got pregnant (hubby is wildland firefighter, gone a lot) so my due date based on conception is june 07. I wouldn't stress. Just roll with it.

i got a US at what I thoght was 6 weeks... There was no baby in the sac so I got it done again at almost 7 weeks. 40 weeks would have haveen May 12th, but instead (bc the doc didnt see the baby in the sac) he changed the date to May 17th.. so here I am on my due date... waiting for the baby to come...
So my doc did change my due date even though it is just a week.
they told me that the 1st US is the most relaibable and that is what they go by. But it isnt a big deal, just ask your doc next time you go and plan on having your baby sometime around that date... some people go weeks early and some go late, so what is a due date anyway?

my doctor told me july 15 and my health nurse told me july 12 (based on the lmp but my ultrasound said july 10 they say the ultrasound is more accurate plus its earlier so i just go by july 10
