How long?

How long did you wait before you had sex after you had your baby? Today, I'm a full two weeks PP, and my significant other and I had sex... and it didn't hurt me at all, and there was no bleeding afterwards. Was there pain and bleeding for you?

I only ask, because I'm -slightly- worried about four small internal stitches I got...

It didnt hurt for me,but I clotted really bad a few days later and everytime after that when we where about to have sex i'd chicken out because the clots I passed where really big and it scared the crap outta me.

I waited about 3 months. only because I waited the 6 weeks, then a month after for my birth control to kick in. It didn't hurt at all, but I bled a little bit afterwards.

They say to wait 6 weeks because of the chance for infection. Most people end up not waiting past the 4th week. When you go back to the Dr be honest and go from there. I am not sure that back in the stone ages people waited 6 weeks. Paranioa this day and age I guess.

I waited almost 7 weeks, because that's what my doctor said to do.

I didn't want to risk getting an infection for a night of fun.

sex--another reason for matthew to wait for daddy to get home cause i know that right after i have him i wont be having any sex and we havent had sex since he left in october so going seriously 14-15 months would totally suck--probaly more for him than me but i would feel bad for the guy  so this kid needs to come early so we can have sex late in his leave or come a little late so we can do it the beg. of his leave....    

Hmm, it probably didnt have much effect on you because you didnt have any tearing or stitches or anything.

I have 4 very small internal stitches. I only got those because she came out with her arm crossed over her chest... I love my daughter, but she's such a goober.

I TRIED at 5 weeks and it did not go over well AT ALL! I was cut front to back with my 9 pd son so even still it dont feel completely right sometimes and Im bout to have another! Hopefully she wont be as big tho! But once I got comfortable enough it seemed like I bleed the first few times.

seriously--matthew needs to either come like right now so i can heal a little bit for daddy or wait till hes like 2 days late..lol cause my doc already said she would induce me on june4th if he was late cause my cervix was already ripe right now and all but this kid has to cut me and daddy SOME slack;)

Good deal... My daughter was 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and I didn't have any perenial (sp?) tearing (that area between your vagina and your anus).

i waited 2 weeks and a couple days. & i was just fine. I had a c section though. just as long as your careful i dont think you have anything to worry about. have fun.

ah, well I read your birth story and it said no stitching lol.
So I just assumed..

but idk anything about any of it, im still pregnant!! lol.
