I wouldn't do this to my kid, but you just reminded me of when I'd hear my brother and sister grinding their teeth when I was little.. I would get out of bed and shove a sock inbetween their teeth.

I don't know though, maybe look into a tooth guard thing [kinda like what football players and wrestlers wear.] that she can wear while she's sleeping?

A while ago, when DH and I started dating, I woke up to him staring at me, clutching my face with his hand and pushing in on my jawline.

A little scary, but turns out I was grinding my teeth :I

I use a night guard for when I sleep. Does she do this all the time or just when she sleeps? Take her to a dentist!

She does it when she's up, she may do it when she sleeps but I'm not sure since we don't sleep in the same room. Her teeth don't look bad when I look at them but don't want themm too get bad.

I just took my daughter to the dentist yesterday for her first visit. She is 3 years old. She grinds her teeth alot and it drives me nuts! I brought this up to her dentist yesterday and he said it is very common for them to grind their teeth up until like age 7. He said that usually by the time they start getting adult teeth they grow out of it. It's ok for them to grind their baby teeth but not adult teeth.
