re: Cloth diapers?

Quoting PhukinA!:" O also they have different package sizes and two different types of diapers (ultra soft and bamboo). $250 was the largest of the ultra soft package"

I would probably start with one until I knew I wanted to buy more. im just gonna get one or so of each kind I am looking into. it said about $17-20 for one depending on what you said about bamboo or ultra soft.

Bamboo is more expensive. The process they use for bamboo makes the diapers/inserts thinner.Bamboo also takes longer to dry and should not be put in the dryer (they are more delicate).
I went with the ultrasoft for the simple fact that they dry faster and the youtube video I watch showed an absorbency test between the two (ultrasoft and bamboo) and ultrasoft held a little more. Not a big difference so the actual cost played a role as well.
Just remember you can always sell the diapers you don't want to put money towards the ones you do want.

That's what I figure too. If I dont like one I'll just sell it.
While I like the thought of bamboo I don't see the point in paying more for them. Unless someone convinces me otherwise.

i found the one size pockets to work the best for E.

you have to have quite a few diapers, because they take a LONG LONG time to dry if you do all in ones. pockets are just like all in ones, but easier to dry.

I just saw ome AI2s and they looked nice! you can still take them apart and reuse the cover after being soiled but it uses inserts still, they just snap onto the cover. interesting.

AI2s are AWESOME! My favorite =], they are a lot less laundry and cotton prefolds wash up so much nicer than synthetic fibers like polyester.
