Questions?

Im in the hospital on bed rest due to having Pre Eclampsia and i got the two steroid shots because they told me she will have to come out early but not sure how early. Im currently 31 weeks. I get to meet with the neonatologist today and i want to know what are some questions i should ask when i talk to him.

Id ask how soon they feel you'll have to deliver, best and worst case scenarios. What the plan would be if baby had issues? Hoe long they feel you can safely stay pregnant?

just a heads up.....almost any question you ask is going to get a vague answer. Nothing is for certain until your baby is born. and even then it is touch and go. It all depends on you baby. and dr's cant say "Oh, everything is going to be rainbows and butterflies" because if it isn't, they run the risk of getting sued. So be prepared for a lot of "maybe's" and "what if" scenarios.

yeah i know there are some things they cant give me straight answers on. just not sure what i should be asking i have never had to deal with this sorta thing before =/

I didn't know you were in the hospital!

I was in last week for the same thing, minus the protein in my urine. My blood pressure was 156/116 and they sent me home .. I was confused. lol

They're inducing me Sunday night though.
